Police Investigating Child's Death At Manchester Econo Lodge
Police were sent to the Queen City hotel Monday for a report of an untimely death.
MANCHESTER, NH — Police in the state's largest city are investigating the death of a child at a local hotel. Manchester police were sent to the Econo Lodge on West Hancock Street on the West Side for a report of a medical emergency involving a child. At around 6 p.m., the child was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead, according to Lt. Matthew Larochelle of the Manchester Police Department.
"At this time the Manchester Police Department is working in conjunction with the Hillsborough County Attorney’s office to determine the cause of the child’s death," he said. "An autopsy was scheduled for tomorrow morning."
