Police Still Seek Tips After Teen Shot In The Face

More evidence has been released by investigators hoping to find a man who allegedly shot a juvenile near a Manchester park on Saturday.

MANCHESTER, NH — The Manchester Police Department’s Juvenile Unit is asking for the public’s help in finding a person who reportedly shot a teen around midnight Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Initially, police reported that the incident occurred inside Stanton Park in Manchester. Now, however, they believe that the incident occurred near the park, not necessarily inside of the park, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.

“The 17-year-old victim was released from the hospital after being treated for his non-life threatening gunshot wound,” he noted. “The egregious act of violence does not appear to be random and investigators believe there are additional witnesses to the incident.” (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Bedford NH Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
