Police Unions Endorse Corriveau in County Attorney's Race
Manchester, Nashua Police Patrolmen Associations give nod to challenger in Hillsborough County.

MANCHESTER, NH — Garth Corriveau, a candidate for Hillsborough County Attorney, announced on Oct. 18, 2016, that the Manchester Professional Police Patrolmen Association (MPPA) and Nashua Police Patrolmen Association (NPPA) had endorsed his campaign for Hillsborough County Attorney, according to a press statement. As New Hampshire’s two largest cities cope daily with meeting the challenge of keeping fentanyl, heroin and opioids off their streets to prevent future fatalities and overdoses, police officers in Manchester and Nashua are united in their desire for a new chief law enforcement officer for Hillsborough County, he noted in a statement.
"We have seen first-hand in Manchester that Garth Corriveau is a strong leader with a proven record of strengthening public safety," said MPPA President Ken Chamberlain. "Garth’s leadership in adding more police officers to our ranks has been critical to helping law enforcement get drugs off the streets.”
Chamberlain stated, “While Dennis Hogan failed to secure a greatly needed drug court for Manchester over a year ago, Garth’s support of law enforcement has been unwavering, especially in tackling the opioid crisis. We are proud to endorse Garth Corriveau for County Attorney because he will be a strong advocate for public safety."

NPPA President Dan Archambault added, "Nashua’s police officers are working tirelessly to keep our community safe in the face of the opioid epidemic, but too often we are arresting drug dealers only to have to re-arrest them under Dennis Hogan’s watch. We deserve a new, dynamic, top prosecutor who will stand with us in the pursuit of justice. We endorse Garth Corriveau for Hillsborough County Attorney because he will bring new, strong leadership to this fight.”
Corriveau said he was honored to receive the endorsements of the associations.
