Rombeau: I Will Continue to Work for Our Community at the State House

State Representative Catherine Rombeau is running for re-election on November 5 and champions practical, problem-solving legislation.

(Mary Noce)

Serving as one of Bedford’s seven State Representatives for the last three years has been an incredible honor and deeply satisfying work. As I seek re-election this fall as one of your Democratic candidates, I’d like to thank all our Bedford neighbors who have reached out to me about legislation and shared a broad range of personal and political perspectives.

I have continued to learn more every day as a State Rep. I have focused on supporting our public schools, improving equitable and accessible health care, and prioritizing safe infrastructure, all while keeping an eye on hidden impacts to our local property taxes. I’m proud to have sponsored successful legislation to lower patient costs for early breast cancer screening, as well as bills to remediate and prevent water contamination in our communities and to make our state roads safer. I know these are important priorities for Bedford residents and I will continue to stand up for them in Concord.

In an election year with a lot of national noise, there’s still a great deal of bipartisan work to be done in the State House. I am grateful you gave me the chance to serve our town these past few years, and I ask for your vote again on November 5 to continue to work for our town and our state.
