Marshals Seek NH Fugitive with ‘Violent Tendencies’

Stephen Berube is wanted for failure to appear on amphetamine and disobeying an officer charge, bail jumping on an assault charge.

CONCORD, NH — This week’s District of New Hampshire - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force Fugitive of the Week is wanted on numerous charges and marshals also warn that he reportedly has “violent tendencies.” Marshals are looking for Stephen Berube, 30, for failure to appear on possession of amphetamine and disobeying an officer charges out of Hillsborough County as well as a warrant out of Dunbarton for bail jumping on an assault charge.

Berube is white, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs around 200 lbs., and has hazel eyes and brown hair with light skin tone. He has the word “summer” tattooed on his back. Berube sometimes uses the alias of “Scott Main,” and has three different birthdates listed stating he is 29, 30, and 45, according to marshals.

Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White noted in a press alert that Berube had “violent tendencies” and anyone who sees him should not attempt to apprehend him.

“Berube’s whereabouts are currently unknown, but he is known to have friends, family, and associates around Dunbarton, Allenstown, and Nashua,” White stated.

According to posts online, Berube was indicted last year in Hillsborough County Superior Court on drug and disobeying charges after a traffic stop in Nashua in February 2016.
