An officer left the Merrimack Street investigation and headed to Ash Street just before King reportedly arrived home. King got out of his car, according to the officer, and was told to stop but allegedly fled into his home. King was later arrested inside, according to the police report.
“While in custody, officers found a baggie of Xanax pills on King,” Brown alleged. “A later search of King’s apartment resulted in the seizure of a 9mm Hi-Point semi-automatic handgun, 3.55 ounces of marijuana and 0.941 ounces of cocaine.”
