Do you have an interest in helping your fellow townspeople on election days and to learn more about the election process? The Town of Bedford welcomes residences who want to volunteer a few hours of their time and be more involved with elections to sign-up for potential open positions.

Poll workers play a vital role in helping Voters on election days. Town Officials rely on them to assist with several duties, including greeting and checking in Voters, processing of absentee ballots, and tabulating the ballots & write-in votes at the close of the polls. These volunteers are a big reason why we have relatively smooth elections in the Town of Bedford.

Poll workers are essential to help with School & Town Elections, State & Federal Primaries, and General Elections. Training is provided prior to each election, and you will be able to choose the slot you want to work during the day.

If you are a registered voter in the Town of Bedford, and would like to have an opportunity to help our Town on election days, please send your name, preferred email address and phone number to BedfordNH.Volunteers@gmail.com. Your name will be added to the list to be sent an invitation for volunteering for our next elections.
