Weather
The snow-rain mix will be gone by late in the evening on Monday. Expect temperatures in the high 20s and high 30s for most of the day. On Tuesday, the sun reappears with highs in the mid-30s. Overnight, temps drop down into the teens, with winds as high as 20 mph. Expect similar, slightly warmer weather on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Monday
- Carrie Brown offers her talk, Winning the War, Shaping the Peace: Industry, Civil War, and the Birth of Consumerism, at the Havenwood Auditorium, 33 Christian Avenue in Concord at 2:15 p.m.
- The Concord Community Music School, 23 Wall St. in Concord, presents jazz and voice workshops all this week.
- The Bedford Garden Club meeting at 6 p.m. hosts a talk by Jonathan Ebba of UNH, on the art of propagating plants without the use seeds. The talk will be held at the Bedford Public Library, McAllaster Room, 3 Meetinghouse Road in Bedford.
- Kids can try out for the Peacock Players’ production of “Aladdin” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at 6 p.m. on Monday at the Janice B. Streeter Theatre, 14 Court St. in Nashua. There will also be tryouts on Tuesday.
- The New Hampshire Film & Television Office continues its roundtable discussion meetings at 6 p.m. at New England College, Concord, 62 N. Main St. in Concord. This month’s topic is “The Digital Democratization of Film.”
- Lisa Guyer hosts an open mic night at 8 p.m. at Whippersnappers Restaurant, 44 Nashua Road in Londonderry.
- Skye Steele, Clara Berry, Karlie Bruce and Chris Parello play The Red Door Lounge/Martini Bar, 107 State St. in Portsmouth at 8 p.m.

- The Amherst Recreation Department has two programs scheduled at the Peabody Mill Environmental Center, 66 Brook Road in Amherst: Toddler’s Tales & Trails at 10 a.m. and a homeschool science program at 1 p.m.
- Strawbery Banke Museum celebrates Native American Heritage Month at 5:30 p.m. The museum is located at 14 Hancock St. in Portsmouth.
- The River Card Room, 185 Elm St. in Milford, hosts a bingo night at 6:45 p.m.
- The Harlem Wizards come to Concord High School at 7 p.m. to face-off against a teacher, principals, firefighters team in a benefit for The Riley Family. Tickets are $10-$14.

- Le Cure Couture is hosting a Winey Art auction and benefit for the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition at 5:30 p.m. at La Belle Winery, 345 Route 101 in Amherst.
- The Zco Corporation’s 25th Anniversary Fall Harvest will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Millyard Technology Park – Riverview Café, 58 Technology Way in Nashua.
- Heronfield Academy, an independent middle school in Hampton Falls, hosts an open house at 6:15 p.m.
- The Concord Public Library welcomes Hogwarts at 7 p.m. for a night of magical fun.
- A HU chant will be held at the Exeter Public Library at 7 p.m.
- Andrew Pinard brings his magic show to the Red River Theatres, 1 S. Main St. in Concord at 8 p.m.
Thursday
- Author Janet Evanovich will be at The Music Hall, 28 Chestnut St. in Portsmouth at 7:30 p.m.
- The J Geils Band plays the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, 169 Ocean Blvd. in Hampton at 8 p.m. Tickets are $60-$65.
- The Londonderry Women’s Club is hosting Comedy Night at the Tupelo Music Hall, 2 Young Road in Londonderry. Tickets are $20.
