POLL: Who is Your Favorite Patriots Offensive Player?

Brady and Gronk are easy choices, but there are plenty more.

While you can head to hundreds of different Web sites this week and vote on who you think will win the Super Bowl, who will score the first touchdown, and other such questions, we want to keep today's question of the day local and simple:

Which Patriots offensive player is the fan favorite among Bedford residents?

Sure, Tom Brady is the easy answer. After all, the NFL's golden boy has led New England to three Super Bowl titles  and five appearances in his 10 years as a starting quarterback, but there are other great choices as well.

Rob Gronkowski has stolen the show in Foxborough this season, breaking records and taking names. His 18 regular-season touchdowns were second in the league this year (behind only Eagles' running back LeSean McCoy's 20) and he set a tight end scoring record, not to mention exhibiting possibly the most impressive spike in NFL history.

Fellow second-year tight end Aaron Hernandez – one of Bedford Patch Editor Ryan O'Connor's favorite players due to his college roots as a University of Florida Gator – has also impressed, taking advantage of single coverage due to defenses focusing heavily on Gronk, and burning speedy NFL linebackers and safeties underneath consistently throughout a second-straight solid season.

Of course, the offense also features a plethora of other skilled players such as Wes Welker, the law firm of BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Danny Woodhead, Kevin Faulk and Deion Branch, or maybe you prefer a guy that gets the job done in the trenches like Matt Light and Logan Mankins, who protect Brady's blindside.
