“When confronted, the female suspect used a wallet to repeatedly strike the clerk in the head,” according to Sgt. Michael Biron of the Manchester Police Department. “The female suspect fled out the back door of the store.”
Not far from the store, Lebedew was located and an officer attempted to detain her, police stated.

“The suspect kicked and kneed the officer in an attempt to flee,” Biron alleged.
Lebedew was brought under control and arrested. Since she was out on bail on other charges, including in Manchester, she was held and will be arraigned today.
According to posts on Patch, Lebedew, who was a South Boston resident about 10 months ago, was arrested twice in Weymouth during the last year. In December 2015, she was arrested and charged with two counts of shoplifting by asportation. About a month later, she was arrested during a traffic stop for a single count of shoplifting by asportation.
