• Plane crashes at Jaffrey Airport; pilot taken to hospital (pressnewsagency.org) — A 75-year-old Brookline man was seriously hurt Friday when his small plane crashed while taking off from Jaffrey Airport, trapping him in the wreckage. He was flown to a Worcester hospital with facial and back injuries but was awake and responsive. Federal investigators are looking into what caused the single-engine aircraft’s propeller to stop.
