Event Details

Merrimack High School, 38 McElwain St, Merrimack, NH, 03054

The town of Merrimack's Annual 4th of July Parade is organized by the  Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department and is one of the largest  Independence Day Parades in the State of New Hampshire.
In 2024, we had 72 registered groups encompassing more than 1,400 participants in the parade, making it the largest parade Merrimack has ever organized. The parade features a wide range of bands, militia units, clowns, local businesses, community organizations and more.

NEW PARADE ROUTE FOR 2026

This year, the Parade route will be flipped from its traditional direction and will run in reverse. New for this year, parade participants will line up along O’Gara Drive, with the official starting point located near the Skateboard Park.

When the Parade begins, it will turn right onto Baboosic Lake Road and head toward the center of Town. The route will then take a left onto Daniel Webster Highway, traveling past the Post Office, before turning right onto Front Street.

The Parade will conclude in the Commons Shopping Plaza parking lot near Tractor Supply. The total parade route is 1.1 miles in length.
