β’ Claremont business owners voice concern with public drug use (vermontjournal.com) β Claremont business and childcare owners pressed city officials about public drug use, disruptive behavior, and limited police response outside their doors, prompting the council to ask the interim city manager for quick action. Councilors also advanced several local priorities, from youth sports funding and park improvements to major infrastructure work on Freedom Street and a new roof for Fiske Free Library, all without raising taxes.
