• Winter Guide 2026: Featured Events For Family Fun Throughout The Winter (caledonianrecord.com) — Railroad history and holiday music are on Colebrook's calendar in this regional winter events guide. Paul Raffenello will give a trains and railroads talk at noon November 20 at the Tillotson Center. Tuba Christmas follows December 19 at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, with free admission and donations appreciated. 
• Expect fog, snow and tough trail conditions above tree line (nhpr.org) — Hikers heading above tree line this weekend face difficult conditions as rain turns to snow Saturday night and Sunday, with fog and blowing snow expected. Near Colebrook, Saturday night's rain showers could continue as temperatures fall into the upper 30s, followed by a cooler, breezy Sunday across northern New Hampshire.
