1 Person Injured During Loudon Road Crash In Concord: Video

Two cars collided at the Exit 14 interchange on Interstate 93 on Tuesday night.

CONCORD, NH — One person was injured during a two-vehicle crash on Loudon Road on Tuesday night.

At just before 9:30 p.m., police dispatch received a 911 open-line call reporting a crash at the intersection of Loudon Road and the Exit 14 interchange on Interstate 93. The dispatcher told officers heading to the scene there might be injuries.

Less than a minute later, the dispatcher gave the officers an update, stating one vehicle was in the middle of the road, and Concord fire and rescue teams were being requested due to an injury.

The first arriving officer reported New Hampshire State Police also had a trooper at the scene.

A battalion commander confirmed one car was off the road and there were “a number of cars” at the intersection, as well as police.

The crash was between a Honda Civic and a Volkswagen Jetta. Both sedans were registered in New Hampshire and the drivers had active licenses without any warrants, according to dispatch.

News 603 posted a video clip on Facebook.

A man from Henniker, who was a witness, was also interviewed, according to an officer.

Two tow trucks were requested to the scene and arrived just after 10 p.m. to remove the cars.

One officer also headed to Concord Hospital to speak with an injured party.
