1 Person Shot, Second Person Injured By Another Means In Pittsfield

New Hampshire State Police Major Crimes is on Main Street in Pittsfield after an incident in the parking lot of Citizens Bank.

PITTSFIELD, NH — Pittsfield police, first responders, and New Hampshire State Police were sent to a shooting on Main Street in Pittsfield on Saturday.

Just before noon, police and EMTs were sent to the area for a report of a shooting in the parking lot of Citizens Bank. Early reports stated two people were shot, but later, it was reported there was a single gunshot victim, Jeffrey Hastings said on his InfoNH Facebook feed. The second person was injured due to unidentified means and was not shot.

Around 12:15 p.m., police asked residents to avoid the area. The state police’s major crime unit arrived later, according to scanner chatter.

A suspect was identified and investigators said they might be in Gilmanton.
