  1. Nice weather this week. Expect some pretty good weather this week. On Monday, it will be sunny with highs in the low 80s. Potential showers are expected on Tuesday with temps in the 70s. More sun appears on Wednesday, with highs in the mid-70s. Similar weather is expected on Thursday, with temps in the mid-80s on Friday. 
  2. Unemployed? A support group meets at 8 a.m. on Monday at EJ's on Main at the Holiday Inn. Network with others who are in the same situation. And don't forget to check out the Patch jobs website and I'll have more new job listings up on Monday afternoon. 
  3. Help the Prouty Cancer Fund. Uno's is having a "dough raiser" for the Prouty Cancer Fund. Eat at Uno's on Monday and 20 percent of your bill will be donated to the fund. The restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. 
  4. Network with others. The Suite Success in Networking Group meets at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at The Office Suite. If you have a business or service, network with others who do too. 
  5. Defeating Violence with Prayer. John Quincy Adams III will be speaking at Concord High School about how prayer is an effective tool in getting a handle on violence. The talk is free and sponsored by the First Church of Christ, Scientist of Concord. 
  6. Ladies ... climb. Evolution Rock + Fitness offers half price tickets on rock climbing and on other stuff on Mondays. Just $8. 
  7. NetLunch. The Woman's Club of Concord hosts a NetLunch at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. It's an opportunity for businesswomen to share ideas and referrals. 
  8. Salaam Dunk. The Crossroads International Film and Discussion Series continues at 7 p.m. on Tuesday the Red River Theatres with the presentation of " a documentary about Iraqi women college athletes. The film showing and panel discussion are free. 
  9. Facebook marketing secrets. Author and marketeer Mike Dolpies along with Intown Concord are offering a workshop at 8 a.m. on Wednesday at the Center for Health Promotion so you can jump-start your social media presence. 
  10. Poetry Wednesday. The Poetry Society of New Hampshire meets at Gibson's Bookstore at 7 p.m. This month, the headliners are Barbara Crane and Charles Fort. An open mic will follow. 
  11. Meet Elizabeth Marshall Thomas. Author Elizabeth Marshall Thomas talk about her new book, a memoir of her life, at 3 p.m. on Thursday. 
  12. World Refugee Day. Celebrate World Refugee Day at 3 p.m. on Thursday at the Statehouse. 
  13. Monthly supper. The Grace Episcopal Church hosts its monthly supper at 5 p.m. on Friday. Enjoy pot roast, potatoes, broccoli, and bread pudding. The dinner is free but a donation will be accepted for the Take-A-Tote program, which assists in feeding needy Concord school children. 
  14. Midsummer Night Magic. It's happening on Main Street at 5 p.m. All kinds of fun activities for kids and adults downtown. 
  15. Tom Chapin, live. The Penacook Village Association is sponsoring a free concert at 7 p.m. on Friday with Tom Chapin and his band at Merrimack Valley High School.
