1st Annual Gate City Fall Festival and Parade Set for Oct. 18

The event starts at 10 a.m. on Main Street in Nashua.

The City of Nashua is proud to announce the 1st Annual Gate City Fall Festival and Parade!

Mark your calendars for what is sure to become a time honored tradition for families in the greater Nashua community to celebrate the autumn season. Enjoy the fun on Saturday, Oct. 18.

We begin with a Main Street parade stepping off at 10 a.m. from 300 Main St. The parade proceeds north on Main Street crossing Amherst and Lowell traveling north on Manchester Street and taking a left onto Sargents Avenue to historic Holman Stadium.

Lead by our Grand Marshall Stanley Stoncius, the parade highlights more than 50 local organizations, a special appearance by the Peacock Players cast of “Peter Pan,” 100 participants in our children’s costume contest, featuring World Champion Punkin Chunkers Team American Chunker and more!

Families will then delight in a variety of activities at Holman Stadium from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival is loaded with games, prizes, live entertainment, refreshments, Ferris wheel rides, pony rides, hayrides and more!
