2-Car Crash Reported On North State Street In Concord

Watch: No injuries were reported but firefighters and police officers got a workout in Monday after an accident on North State Street.

CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters and police got a little bit of a workout into their shifts Monday after a two-vehicle accident was reported on North State Street. Around 2:35 p.m., dispatch reported the crash right near Granite State Natural Foods. After arriving, firefighters, who were only a few blocks away, told dispatch that neither driver — one from Massachusetts and another from Mississippi — was injured.

Officers, however, called for more assistance with northbound traffic. That officer began rerouting traffic onto Penacook Street to Rumford Street and then back onto North State Street by the Yellow Submarine sandwich shop.

After cleaning up debris, including two bumpers that fell off the vehicles during the accident, firefighters and officers began to push one of the sedans out of the roadway in order to get traffic moving again.
