Witnesses Sought After Fatal Crash On Route 106 In Concord

CONCORD, NH — Concord police, New Hampshire State troopers, and firefighters were called to a crash on Route 106 near the town line with Loudon Tuesday.
The initial call was reported at just before 11:45 a.m. when a Concord officer arrived at a single-vehicle crash with two people outside of the vehicle. As Concord firefighters arrived, they confirmed the crash was serious with a possible ejection — with one of the individuals not conscious.
A second ambulance was requested from Loudon to assist with another officer stating both individuals had serious head injuries. Command at the scene also requested two Status 1 trauma alerts for Concord Hospital realizing both the patients were badly injured.

The vehicle was identified as a black 2001 Chevrolet Corvette by a Concord officer who ran the plate.
Traffic was shut down and vehicles rerouted at Autumn Drive.

After about 15 minutes, the patients were taken to the hospital.
While limited information is available about the crash, according to scanner chatter and comments from the scene, it appears as if the car was driving south when it struck the guardrail and rolled — with speed possibly a factor.

According to fire dispatch, traffic is still being rerouted around the crash scene at just before 2 p.m.
On Facebook around 2:30 p.m., Concord police confirmed the accident is being investigated as a fatal crash. Witnesses are being asked to contact the Concord Police Department at 603-225-8600 or the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100.
