2 SUVs Crash At 4-Way Stop In Concord’s North End
Concord police and firefighters were sent to Rumford and Penacook streets on Sunday for a crash.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the intersection of Rumford and Penacook streets for a crash on Sunday.
At just before 3:30 p.m., police dispatch began to receive “multiple calls” about a collision between a Mazda SUV and a Volvo SUV.
After arriving, police ran the plates and licenses of the drivers and ran a check on a passenger while EMTs evaluated one patient. Another firefighter attempted to stop fluids from leaking from the Volvo.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles.
Firefighters cleared the scene just before 4 p.m.

The intersection was made a four-way stop years ago due to crashes and heavy traffic from Granite Place. Since that time, there have not been many crashes at the intersection.
