2-Vehicle Crash Damages Gas Meter In Concord's North End
Breaking: Concord police, firefighters are assisting Liberty Utilities after a car struck a gas meter of a School Street apartment building.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and firefighters are assisting utility workers after a crash at the intersection of School and Rumford streets that led to damage to a gas meter Friday. First responders were sent to the intersection at just before 11:45 a.m. for a two-vehicle crash. One of the vehicles, a Toyota Camry, struck a meter on the side of an apartment building leading to gas service being shut off to the building, according to fire dispatch.
An Audi sedan was also involved in the crash.
Firefighters reported to dispatch that they were able to shut off the gas. About 30 minutes after the crash, Liberty Utilities arrived to repair the meter, according to scanner chatter.
