3 Dead After I-89 Rollover Crash

Breaking: New Hampshire State Police are investigating a motor vehicle accident that shut down sections of the Interstate Sunday.

NEW LONDON, NH — Three people have reportedly died after a motor vehicle crash in the area of Exit 12 in New London. New Hampshire State Police shut down the highway to investigate the accident which was first reported at around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, according to New London fire dispatch. At first, the 911 call reported that two people were ejected from the vehicle and were unresponsive.

The occurred just north of the exit in the median of the highway.

A second ambulance was requested two minutes after the first call as well as DHART (The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Advanced Response Team via helicopter), which was expected to arrive in 10 minutes. DHART and the second ambulance were canceled after the first arriving EMTs reported that the two people were dead at the scene, according to fire dispatch.

Sections of the highway were closed to traffic for about four and half hours.
