4-Vehicle Crash On The Concord Heights Sends Drivers To The Hospital

Video: 2 drivers were taken to Concord Hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on Loudon Road on Wednesday afternoon.

CONCORD, NH — One person was taken to the hospital after a crash at 333 Loudon Road on Wednesday afternoon.

Around 12:15 p.m., police and fire dispatchers began receiving calls about a crash on the Heights involving at least two vehicles. Both drivers were reportedly trapped in their vehicles, according to witnesses. Fluid was also reportedly leaking from at least one vehicle’s engine.

The first arriving officer said there were multiple vehicles involved, but it looked like only one driver had injuries.

One vehicle, a Nissan Frontier pickup truck with heavy front-end damage, was owned by an auto parts store. An Audi SUV, a Ford Escape SUV, and a Chevrolet SUV were also involved in the crash.

When firefighters arrived, they blocked traffic on one lane of the westbound side of Loudon Road closest to the intersection.

One woman was taken to Concord Hospital by EMTs and a second ambulance was requested for the other patient.

News 603 posted a video on Facebook.

One driver was given field sobriety tests and passed, according to scanner chatter.

Tow trucks were requested for two of the vehicles.

An officer also went to the hospital to speak with the woman who was taken there.
