4 Vehicles Crash On Route 3 In Pembroke; 3 Sent To Hospital: Watch
Pembroke firefighters, police, and the Tri-Town ambulances were sent to a multi-vehicle crash with injuries Monday that closed the highway.
PEMBROKE, NH — Pembroke police, firefighters, and EMTs from Tri-Town Ambulance were sent to a four-vehicle crash with entrapment near Broadway Monday.
The initial call came from county dispatch just past 2:15 p.m. Firefighters and police were there after a few seconds since the crash was near the town safety complex. The fire commander told Capital Area Mutual Aid Fire Compact dispatch there was heavy vehicle damage. A second ambulance was also requested.
A Dodge Journey reported collided with a Mazda Miata. The Journey also had heavy backend damage. An SUV and another vehicle were also involved in the crash.

Firefighters began removing the driver of the Miata, which was struck on the driver’s side of the car. Two people were being treated at the scene.
A Pembroke fire commander requested more personnel to keep the road blocked.

Route 3 was shut down between Broadway and Dearborn Road around 2:30 p.m. while firefighters continued to work on extrication.
Concord fire and rescue teams provided mutual aid during the incident.
Firefighters completed extrication around 2:45 p.m. and remained at the scene to assist the Tri-Town Ambulances. Three people were taken to Concord Hospital, according to EMTs.
