- Hellooo Andrea. Weather forecasters believe the Tropical Storm Andrea will be hitting us today. They are calling for rain with highs in the low 60s and wind gusts. Expect at least a half-inch of rain in the daytime. The rain continues into the evening, with temps dropping down into the 50s, and about two inches of rain expected.
- Sox and art. The Kimball Jenkins School of Art is holding an auction for four Red Sox tickets with the proceeds going to a scholarship fund for children to attend art classes. The bidding ends on June 12 (the game is June 25). Bid now!
- Yard sale. The Friends of Forgotten Children will host its annual yard sale starting at noon and running until 6 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds go to fund the nonprofit.
- Tour the Chamberlin House. At 5:30 p.m., tour the historic Chamberlin House, the building used by the Woman’s Club of Concord. The building has been around for more than 125 years. Tandy’s Top Shelf provides apps. The tour is free.
