5 Things: Can Violence Be Defeated With Prayer?

1. Mixed Monday. Weather forecasters are expecting both rain and sun today. The day should start out nice with highs in the low 80 but showers could appear in the early afternoon and may continue into the evening. Overnight lows drop down into the high 50s.
2. Help a cancer fund. Up to 20 percent of your bill at Uno’s from 11:30 a.m. on will be donated to the Prouty Cancer Fund. The donation effort is part of the restaurant’s “dough raiser” program.
3. Network with others. The Suite Success in Networking Group meets at The Office Suite at 11:30 a.m. SSING meetings are a great opportunity to network with other business owners, consultants, and entrepreneurs. The meeting is free and runs until 1 p.m.
4. Defeating violence. Can it be accomplished? John Quincy Adams III believes that through prayer, it can be done. The First Church of Christ, Scientists is sponsoring a talk by Adams at 7:30 p.m. at Concord High School.
5. Are you a veteran? You and your family can receive a free yoga lesson at 7:30 p.m. at Sharing Yoga. Register via email and take advantage of this great program.
