5 Things: Frosty Weather, Senior Resources, and More

Here's what's going on in Concord today.

  1. Cold morning, warm afternoon. Is that frost you’re seeing this morning? Yes, it is. The National Weather Service said things will warm up after 8 a.m. and sunny skies will prevail, with highs in the mid-60s. Overnight lows drop down into the 30s.
  2. Do you own a local business? Do you need more customers? Advertise on Patch! Concord NH Patch has a new advertising manager – Harison Starr. If you need to market your business or service, reach out to him now at 603-391-1444 or at harison.starr-at-patch.com.
  3. Rally to support the homeless. Members of the homeless community as well as advocates, faith leaders, and others, will be holding a rally at 3 p.m. at the Statehouse against the recent decision to evict people from areas where they were camping around the city.
  4. Noche Mexicana for Friends. Head over to Margaritas Restaurant from 4 p.m. to close with these coupons and give them to your server. After that, the Friends of Forgotten Children will get 15 percent of your pre-tax bill.
  5. Other stuff. Concord WISE meets at Horseshoe Pond Place to discuss healthy foods and sound nutrition at 9 a.m. The Green Street Community Center has an adult open gym at 11:45 a.m. Brad Myrick plays Hermanos at 6:30 p.m. It’s trivia time at Uno’s at 8 p.m. in the bar.
