5 Things: Hot, Hot, Hot, Plus Vote for the Market Days Movie
Here is everything going on in Concord today.

- Here comes the heat. Weather forecasters are predicting sunny skies with highs in the low 90s. Overnight lows will drop down to about 60.

- Vote for the Market Days movie. Red River Theatres is allowing you to vote on what film it will show during 2013 Market Days Festival. The choices are: “Goldfinger,” “7th Voyage of Sinbad,” “Them!,” “To Kill a Mocking Bird,” and “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.” You have until June 21, to vote on the cinemas’ Facebook site or email your choice to info-at-redrivertheatres.org.
- Meet Carrie Cariello. Cariello, a New Hampshire author, talks about her memoir, about how autism changed her family for the better, at 7 p.m. at Gibson’s Bookstore.
- Other stuff. The Children’s Place and Parents’ Education Center hosts a babies and parents group at 9:30 a.m. Butter’s Fine Food and Wine offers free wine tasting at 4:30 p.m. Mike Alberici plays Hermanos at 6:30 p.m. A substance abuse support group, Families Sharing Without Shame, meets at Concord Hospital at 7 p.m.
