5 Things: Mandolin Festival Starts Today

  3. Mandolins. The 11th Annual March Mandolin Festival will be held all day today and this weekend, at the Concord Community Music School.
  4. Pamper shower. The Woman’s Club of Concord will host a pamper baby shower during its March First Friday event. Bring a dish, a bottle of wine, and be part of the fun.
  5. Other stuff. Concord Toastmasters meets at 7 a.m. at the American Red Cross office. The Concord Regional VNA hosts a walk-in blood pressure clinic at the West Street Ward House from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The Concord Dance Academy holds a Zumba fitness class at 5:30 p.m. The Pamela Hines Trio plays The Purple Pit at 7 p.m.
