5 Things: Meet Other MOMS, Plus More Fun Stuff

1. Another hot one. The National Weather Service is calling for another hot summer day with highs in the high 80s. A few clouds may appear in the afternoon, with possible rain or thunderstorms. Overnight, more showers possible, with temps in the mid-60s.
2. Meet other moms. The MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Club of Concord meets at 10 a.m. at Merrill Park on Eastman Street. Pack a lunch and come by, meet new friends, let the kids play, and chat with other local moms.
3. Check out the East Concord Cooperative Preschool. The school will be holding an open house at 5 p.m. on Canterbury Road, at the Heights Community Center.
4. Side by Side, winding down. Paintings by Sally Ladd Cole and Ellen Davis will be on display at the McGowan Fine Art gallery through June 28 of this week. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
5. More fun for Wednesday. If you’re 55 or older, you can get a discount eating at Uno’s today. Hot slices and cold soda – Bambino’s Pizzeria has them today after 11 a.m. The Barley House has trivia time at 8 p.m.
