5 Things: Military Collectables, Toning Up, and Facebook Friends

"Five Things” is a Patch column that provides readers with essential, daily information at a glance about Concord, N.H.
- Clouds and more snow? Maybe. The day will start out with temperatures in the 40s and a light north wind. Into the evening and early morning hours, snow is expected, with temps dropping down into the 20s.
- Nearly at 1,400. The Concord NH Patch site is just a few friends shy of 1,400. If you’re on Facebook, please friend us now and help us reach this goal. Also please tell all your friends to check out the site.
- Tone up Tuesday. Dance Inspirations has a Zumba class at 9:30 a.m. The Green Street Community Center hosts an open gym at 11:45 a.m. for $3. Jen holds a Zumba class at 5:30 p.m. at Concord Dance Academy. For $10, girls and boys can take hip hop or breakdance classes at Rockin Robins House of Dance at 6:15 p.m. or adults can enjoy hip hop sessions at 6:45 p.m.
- Military collectables. The Wings of Knowledge Lecture Series continues at 7 p.m. at NHTI with John Morrison, a collector, talking about World War II military items.
- Other stuff. The Concord VNA hosts a health clinic at 9 a.m. at the West Street Ward House. The Concord Public Library hosts lapsit time at 10:30 a.m. Rob Wolfe plays Hermanos at 6:30 p.m. Uno’s has trivia in the bar at 8 p.m.
