5 Things: Rain, Dealing with Depression, and Broadway at the Cap

- Here comes the rain. Rain is expected this afternoon, with temperatures in the mid-70s. Overnight lows will drop down into the 50s, with more rain.
- The Patch Report. The Concord Patch Report airs on Thursdays at 8 a.m. on 105.5 JYY. I talk with Nazzy and Mya about cool things going on in the city. Tune in!
- Learn about QuickBooks. Sheri-Lynn Fournier will hold an introduction to QuickBooks class from 9 a.m. to noon at The Office Suite. Registration costs $75.
- Dealing with Depression. Author David Blistein will be at Gibson’s Bookstore to talk about his new book, “David’s Inferno,” in which he shares his personal experiences dealing with a nervous breakdown. The event is at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
- Broadway at the Cap. Broadway's Next H!t Musical, an improvised comedy, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Capitol Center for the Arts. Tickets are $35, or $50, which includes a post-show party.
