5 Things: Rainy Tuesday, Food and Fun, Film, and Music

Concord's latest weather forecast plus more.

  1. Rain, heavy at times? That’s a possibility. Weather forecasters believe as much as an inch will fall today with temperatures in the high 50s. The rain will continue into the evening with lows in the mid-50s.
  2. Tell us what’s going on! Patch has all kinds of ways you can let others know about your business, organization, things going on the community, nonprofit fundraisers, events, and everything else. Start a blog, offer an announcement, and put up an event listing for everyone to see.
  3. Food fun times. Are you hungry? Here’s what you need to do. First, kids eat free at Uno’s, with the purchase of an adult entrée, from 11 a.m. on. At 5:30 p.m., Brandi will offer some fun crafts for the kids. Over at Margaritas Restaurant, starting at 4 p.m., 15 percent of your pre-tax food and beverage sale will be donated to the Friends of Forgotten Children.
  4. Love Free or Die. Red River Theatres and NH Public Television present a showing of “Love Free or Die” at 6:30 p.m., a documentary about the life of Rev. Gene Robinson.
  5. Music and fun. Paul Donahue plays Hermanos at 6:30 p.m. A traditional Irish session will happen at 7 p.m. at The Barley House. Uno’s has trivia fun at 8 p.m. in the bar.
