6 New Hampshire Wrestlers Place At New England Interscholastic Championship
Granite Staters compete in Rhode Island; wrestlers from Amherst, Concord, Londonderry, Merrimack, Pelham, Portsmouth placed in the Top 6.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Dozens of Granite State wrestlers, both girls and boys, competed in Providence on Friday and Saturday at the 2024 New England Interscholastic Wrestling Championship.
The bouts were held on 10 mats at the Providence Career & Technical Academy in Providence, Rhode Island. The double elimination tournament featured first, second, and third place wrestlers from Maine, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, as well as first through fifth place in Connecticut, and first through seventh place finishers in Massachusetts.

NH High School Boys
175 pounds: 4th place: David Pento Jr., Londonderry
190: 2nd place: Elijah Josey, Portsmouth

132 pounds: 5th place: Emily Angelo, Merrimack
138: 5th place: Katelynn Zannoni, Pelham
