6 Things You Need to Know About This Week
All kinds of great stuff happening in Concord.

Here is everything you need to know about the week ahead:
- Expect nice weather this week. The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies this week, with nice temperatures. On Monday, expect sunny skies, highs in the mid-70s. Overnight lows will be in the high 30s. Similar weather will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday and Friday, the temps will drop a tad, down into the mid-60s.
- Granite State Music Festival. Early bird weekend passes to the June music festival at Kiwanis Park are on sale until Wednesday.
- Kuster briefs business leaders. The Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire holds a breakfast event with U.S. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, D-NH, at 8 a.m. on Tuesday at the Grappone Conference Center.
- Concord’s front door. The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce will hold a public brainstorming session at 6 p.m. on Wednesday to discuss “Concord’s front door,” the view people see when they arrive into the city on I-93. The conversation will be held at the Grappone Conference Center.
- Meet Henriette Lazaridis Power. Gibson’s Bookstore hosts Henriette Lazaridis Power, who will discuss her first book, “The Clover House,” at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The event is free.
- Friends Program auction. The Friends Program Charity Auction will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, at the Grappone Conference Center. There are all kinds of items which will be sold to help the program. Tickets are $50.
