6 Things You Need to Know About this Weekend

Here are 6 Things to know about this weekend in the city:

1. After Saturday, a nice weekend. The National Weather Service is predicting rain in the morning on Saturday and possibly into the early afternoon. But after that, expect partly sunny skies. Temperatures will be in the mid-50s. Overnight, temps will drop down into the 30s. On Sunday, expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid-50s. Overnight lows will drop down into the 30s.
2. Road race. The 12th Annual Girls Inc. 5K Race will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Northeast Delta Dental.
3. Craft fun. The Immanuel Community Church host a spring crafting group at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The event is free.
4. Spring gala. The Children’s Place and Parents' Education Center holds its 26th Annual Spring Gala at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Holiday Inn.
5. Meditation. Sharing Yoga hosts a mindfulness workshop at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Learn how to calm the monkey mind.
6. Benefit concert. There will be a benefit concert for One Home Many Hopes at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Camp Spaulding as part of a Merrimack Valley High School student's senior project.
