
Get out this weekend! Here are some things to do in Concord:
- Wet weather? Yup, it looks like it. Weather forecasters are calling for showers here and there over the weekend. Expect temperatures to be in the mid-70s on Saturday, with clouds, and winds between 10 and 15 mph. Temps drop down into the 50s overnight. On Sunday, there is a possibility of rain and sun, with highs in the high 60s. Temps drop down into the 30s overnight.
- Healthy living. Everyone wants to live a healthy life. Now you can find out how. The Concord Food Co-op holds a healthy living fair starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday with all kinds of samples, information, and fun stuff for the kids.
- Vital voices. The amazing Concord Chorale performs its spring concert, at 8 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday, at St. John the Evangelist Church. Tickets are $15-$20.
- What are you doing for Mother’s Day? Tell us if you have a fun thing you’re doing for Mother’s Day. At the Weirs, the M/S Mount Washington kicks off its 2013 cruise season with a special brunch for Mother’s Day starting at 10 a.m. Tickets are $20-$41.
- Guy & Ralna perform. After a couple of reschedules, Guy & Ralna from “The Lawrence Welk Show” are scheduled to perform at The Capitol Center for the Arts at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $30-$50.
- LEGO Star Wars camp. The Wesley United Methodist Church’s popular LEGO Star Wars camp is now open for registration for those aged 4 to 13. The camp runs three weeks in July but you need to sign up now. The camp costs $295.
