6 Things You Need to Know About this Weekend

Get out this weekend! Here are some things to do in Concord:

1. Wet weather? Yup, it looks like it. Weather forecasters are calling for showers here and there over the weekend. Expect temperatures to be in the mid-70s on Saturday, with clouds, and winds between 10 and 15 mph. Temps drop down into the 50s overnight. On Sunday, there is a possibility of rain and sun, with highs in the high 60s. Temps drop down into the 30s overnight.
2. Healthy living. Everyone wants to live a healthy life. Now you can find out how. The Concord Food Co-op holds a healthy living fair starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday with all kinds of samples, information, and fun stuff for the kids.
3. Vital voices. The amazing Concord Chorale performs its spring concert, at 8 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday, at St. John the Evangelist Church. Tickets are $15-$20.
4. What are you doing for Mother’s Day? Tell us if you have a fun thing you’re doing for Mother’s Day. At the Weirs, the M/S Mount Washington kicks off its 2013 cruise season with a special brunch for Mother’s Day starting at 10 a.m. Tickets are $20-$41.
5. Guy & Ralna perform. After a couple of reschedules, Guy & Ralna from “The Lawrence Welk Show” are scheduled to perform at The Capitol Center for the Arts at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $30-$50.
6. LEGO Star Wars camp. The Wesley United Methodist Church’s popular LEGO Star Wars camp is now open for registration for those aged 4 to 13. The camp runs three weeks in July but you need to sign up now. The camp costs $295.
