CONCORD, NH — Loudon Road will be closed for a few hours Saturday as the Concord Heights welcomes the 71st Concord Christmas Parade.

The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run from Hazen Drive, up Loudon Road, to Canterbury Road, and then cross Pembroke Road. The parade will stop at the large lot at the former Sprague Electric building parking lot.

This year’s grand marshals are the Concord Little League team, who were 2022 state champions. The theme is “Christmas through the eyes of a child.”

Brian Blackden, the organizer of the parade, said this year, “one of the floats involves an FAA licensed drone operator who will be transmitting video of the parade from its vantage point above their float.” Concord TV will also be taping the parade to be played on Channel 22 following the parade for those who cannot make it, he said.
