7th Annual Herb & Garden Day

If you are a curious seeker, intrepid plant lover, herbal entrepreneur, earth lover, or natural health advocate, this event is for you!

On Saturday, June 18, 2016, herbal educators and seasoned growers from all walks of life will come together to share their unique knowledge and build upon a tapestry of age old wisdom about herbs and natural medicine, native plants, organic gardening, permaculture, traditional homesteading practices, fermentation, brewing, and the power of nature to heal.

If you are a curious seeker, intrepid plant lover, herbal entrepreneur, earth lover, or natural health advocate, this event is for you.

Held at the McLane Audubon Center in Concord, the 7th Annual Herb & Garden Day will feature twelve workshops on topics such as mushrooms, medicinal uses of invasive plants, GERD, growing and using peaceful plants, flower essences for pain, community herbalism, fermentation and more. Between workshops, attendees can browse the Herbal Market and Vendor Fair, featuring more than 30 vendors with medicinal and culinary plants and herbs, local, organic food, herbal remedies, natural soap and body care, artisan crafts and jewelry, books, gardening, alternative health info, and more. Attendees are encouraged to join one of four plant identification walks, take a break in the reiki tent, enter raffles and dine from local food vendors.

“NH Herb and Garden Day is an excellent way to connect with herbalists, plant growers, alternative healers and farmers who care about the health and wellness of our community,” said Sara Woods Kender, President of NH Herbal Network, “and including vendors in the event helps to support our local economy.”

Back by popular demand is the Harvest to Market pre-order plant sale, where you can pre-order plants, herbs, berries, vegetable starts and more from local farmers to be picked up at Herb & Garden Day. This option allows vendors to know what to plant, and ensures deliverability of desired plants. However, there will be plants available to purchase from vendors on the day of the event as well. Pre-orders can be placed by visiting the Harvest to Market website: https://bit.ly/HarvestToMarket
