A Former School Board Member's Insight

I sit here and I read the articles about how Kass Ardinger is running for the Senate seat in District 15.
I also sit here as well and think that everyone is putting Kass on this high pedestal, this holier than now bank, where they think she's untouchable.
Well, let me put my piece out there and then decide for yourself.
Kass was School Board was President when I was on the board and it was never about the other members of the School Board ... it was the agenda of two of the people on that board that mattered: Kass and Chris Rath, the school superintendent.
When you are elected to the board, one of the very first things they tell you is do not come with your own agenda. Well, that's out because Chris and Kass have theirs already.
Kass was not the one years ago who stocked money away for a "rainy day fund." The name slips me at the moment, but it wasn't Kass, and Kass not apologizing for comments or past issues that she has had is really not in her best interest.
But that's Kass for you - a my "&*^#" don't stink type of attitude.
Somethings just never change or never will.
More on this blog will be coming over the next few weeks, about how the new schools need fixing and always have from Day 1, and how Kass really was as school board president.
If you want honesty, don't vote for Kass. But more to come in due time my friends.
