A Saturday Night in Concord

Bicentennial Square, 8 p.m.

On April 27, not wanting to cook or BBQ, I headed to Downtown Concord to get a bite to eat. What's all this talk about the city being sleepy at night? It was pretty bustling!

Since I haven't had restaurant Mexican food in a bit and I was parked on the northwest side of the city, I stopped in at Margaritas for a bite. It was a 25 minute wait at around 7 p.m., a slow night, according to Paul Letourneau, who was working last night. Thankfully, there was a seat open in the bar, and I ordered some drinks and food.

The place was hopping - as were the streets outside. As was the square - Bicentennial Square, that is.

After I was finished eating, I ventured outside and heard Matt Jensen of The Dusty Gray Band hanging out, plucking on his guitar while some of John Cook's friends hung out and did a bit of dancing. As you can see in this video clip, a good time was had by all.
