After Crash on I-93, Fight, Concord Man Arrested

NHSP: Zachary Green crashed into a vehicle, left the scene, was followed by the victim to two locations, and argued with the victim.

A local man was arrested tonight after a crash on I-93 where he allegedly fled the scene.

Zachary M. Green, 36, of Concord, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2015, and charged with conduct after an accident.

According to New Hampshire State Police, at around 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2015, troopers were told about a crash on I-93 where a vehicle truck another vehicle, failed to stop, and left the scene of the crash, which was near Exit 14 on the northbound side of the highway.

The trooper spoke to the victim by phone as the victim followed the suspect vehicle to Horseshoe Pond in Concord. The victim and the suspect then got into a verbal fight, according to state police, and the suspect fled.

The victim took down the vehicle information, told dispatchers, and followed the vehicle to a second location in Concord. The driver of the suspect vehicle – Green – reportedly got out of his vehicle and went inside his home.

“(Green) came back out of his house and an (another) argument ensued,” according to Sgt. William Graham. “Shortly thereafter, Concord and State Police arrived. State Police investigated interviewed both drivers and conducted an investigation. As result of the investigation troopers applied for, and were granted an arrest warrant.”

Green was arrested tonight at 8 p.m. with assistance of Concord Police. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Jan. 29, 2016.
