After Second DWI Arrest, Laconia Woman Fights With Cops: Report

Adele Geary was arrested on Route 3A in Bow last week.

BOW, NH — A New Hampshire woman was arrested last week for drunk driving and resisting arrest or detention in Bow, according to police. Adele Geary, 43, was allegedly driving erratically on the northbound side of Route 3A at around 10 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2017, according to other travelers that filed complaints with police. Sgt. Art Merrigan of the Bow Police Department noted in a press statement that Geary was pulled over by an officer after pulling into the Alltown Convenience Store.

“After agreeing to take field sobriety test, Geary was arrested and charged with DUI second offense and resisting arrest after she fought with officers while being handcuffed,” Merrigan alleged.

Geary refused bail and was held. She was scheduled to be arraigned in Concord District Court on Jan. 2, 2018.
