After Wind Chill Values, Significant Weather Warmup Expected In New Hampshire This Week

CONCORD, NH — While it is chilly outside, warmer temperatures are on the way, according to weather forecasters.

While Monday will be sunny, with temps in the mid-20s, the wind outside will make it feel like it is below zero in some parts of the Granite State. Overnight lows are expected to be around 10 degrees.

There will be more sun on Tuesday, with highs in the mid-40s and a calm wind. Overnight lows will be in the lower 30s.

Rain is expected sometime in the early afternoon, and temps could reach 50 degrees on Wednesday. With more rain, overnight lows will be in the mid-40s.

The rain will continue on Thursday, and temps will be in the mid-50s. During the evening, temperatures will fall back into the mid-20s.

Forecasters also warned Sunday morning about potential rain and snowmelt in the middle of the week, which could raise river levels. However, the rise in water levels was “expected to be modest, and flooding is not anticipated at this time, though some ice break-up is possible.”

Forecasters said typical March weather — temps in the mid-20s to upper 30s on Friday, with rain and snow possible on Saturday.
