Afternoon, Evening Thunderstorms Possible In NH: Alert

Breaking: The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Merrimack, Hillsborough, and Rockingham Counties.

GRAY, ME — Forecasters for the National Weather Service issued a “hazardous weather outlook” this morning warning of afternoon and early evening thunderstorms around the state. The alert was issued at just before 3 a.m. on July 27, 2017. It covers Merrimack, Hillsborough, and Rockingham Counties.

“Scattered thunderstorms (are expected) in the afternoon and early evening,” according to the alert. “A few of the storms may contain gusty winds, small hail, and locally heavy rainfall.”
