Airplane Off Runway in Concord: Report

UPDATED: Concord Fire and Rescue teams, police are at the airport for a single engine plane off the runway.

CONCORD, NH — An aircraft incident is being reported at the Concord airport, according to scanner chatter and alerts online. At just after 10:45 a.m. on Oct. 3, 2016, Concord Police and Fire and Rescue teams were sent to a report of an aircraft off the runway.

Updated reports stated that its a single engine aircraft with a pilot and passenger on board, according to police. The pilot is a male who is 64-years-old; the passenger is a woman and she is 62. No injury information at this time. Police are reporting that there is not a fuel leak at the scene and the plane is not near the conservation area off Airport Road.

Officials from the FAA is also heading to the scene to speak to the pilot.
