Special Mardi Gras celebration to be held on Feb. 17.

All Saints Anglican Church of Concord is offering a “Ministry on the Move” series to begin on Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. with a special Mardi Gras Celebration.

“I like to think of Mardi Gras as a final celebration to say goodbye to fat and fun and prepare to feed the soul during the Lenten season,” said Fr. Christian Tutor, at All Saints. “We will have some goodies to share and some music to sing and everyone is invited. We are offering this event right in the heart of downtown Concord at 8 N. Main St. It is our hope many people will come and join us in this new ministry outreach.”

Other presentations in the “Ministry on the Move” series include “Supernatural: The True, The Frightening and The Unexplainable” which will discuss manifestations in the world visible and invisible and “The Beauty of Holiness”, a presentation on the signs and symbols of the church.
