U.S. Marshals: Zachery Rawson jumped out of a New Hampshire apartment window yesterday attempting to evade capture.

CONCORD, NH – The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force in NH was able to catch a fugitive yesterday who was wanted in two states on an array of charges, according to an alert.

Zachery Rawson, 20, was arrested on July 7, 2016. He was wanted out of Sullivan County for a probation violation on an original conviction of receiving stolen property, including a firearm.

White stated that marshals in New Hampshire and Vermont were able to develop information that led them to a Church Street apartment in North Walpole.

“While attempting to gain entry into the apartment, Rawson jumped from a second floor window and was quickly chased down by a NH State trooper and a sergeant from the Walpole Police Department,” White noted. “Once in custody, Rawson was brought to the Walpole Police Department for processing prior to being transferred to a local jail, where he will be held pending his initial court appearance.”

White said the effort to capture Rawson was a joint enterprise between “several member agencies” including Rockingham and Sullivan County Sheriff's Offices, NH State Probation and Parole, NH State Police, and officers from the Walpole, Claremont, and Springfield (VT) Police Departments.
