Alleged Dunbarton Burglar in Custody
Gary Thayer was arrested by Manchester Police on Tuesday on a drug charge. He will be arraigned today after an incident on Tucker Hill Road.

DUNBARTON, NH — Police in Dunbarton believe they have the man responsible for a burglary on Tucker Hill Road two Sundays ago, according to press statement.
Gary Thayer, 30, with a last known address of Buddy Road in Hooksett, was arrested on July 19, 2016, for burglary.

Officers were sent to the home on July 10, for a report of a burglary. When they arrived, the officers reported a suspect had fled the area after breaking several windows and burglarizing the home, according to Sgt. Christopher Remillard of the Dunbarton Police Department.

Surveillance footage from the home was taken and shared by police with media outlets. Four days later, investigators identified Thayer as a suspect and requested help finding him.

Remillard noted that Thayer was arrested by Manchester Police for possession of a controlled drug-narcotic and was held on a parole detainer by the New Hampshire Department of Corrections. Police booked Thayer at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, he refused bail, and will be arraigned in Concord District Court later today.
According to online reports, Thayer has a history of theft allegations. He was arrested for theft by unauthorized taking in Bow in December 2013. He was arrested again in January 2014 in Bow for theft.
